Jordan’s new low cost carrier starts services

Based in Amman Queen Alia International Airport, Air Arabia Jordan is the Kingdom‘s new low cost carrier (LCC). The airline will start operations on May 18, 2015 and is expected to offer services to a wide range of destinations across the Middle East, Europe and Africa. The carrier announced direct flights to four countries in the region.
Starting Monday May 18 2015, Air Arabia Jordan inaugural flight will take off to Kuwait city as the carrier’s first destination, followed by the launch of regular scheduled services to Jeddah, Erbil and Sharm El Sheikh on May 19th, 20th and 21st respectively, with more destinations to be added later in 2015.
Earlier this year, Air Arabia announced the establishment of its fifth international hub in Jordan following the acquisition of a 49 per cent stake in Petra Airlines which has led to the creation of Air Arabia Jordan.
Air Arabia Jordan passengers can enjoy exactly the same comfort, reliability and value for money services they are used to flying from the carrier’s other four hubs. Air Arabia Jordan fleet consists of new Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with the world’s most spacious economy seat pitch.
