Air Lease Corporation announced a long term lease agreement with Aeromexico for one new Boeing 787-9 aircraft. This aircraft is from ALC’s order book with Boeing and is scheduled for delivery in fall 2016.
“We are pleased to announce the placement of this Boeing 787-9 to Aeromexico, which will provide Mexico’s global airline with a very modern, new-technology long range aircraft product. The combination of range capability and passenger capacity makes this plane an optimal choice for their fleet many years into the future,” said Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, Chairman and CEO of Air Lease Corporation.
Andres Conesa, CEO of Aeromexico, mentioned, “We are delighted to announce the deepening of our relationship with Air Lease. This development means Aeromexico will continue enhancing its outstanding customer travel experience, thanks to the incorporation of the most modern aircraft such as the new Boeing 787-9. This, once again, represents a landmark for the Mexican aviation industry.”
